I first landed in Tanzania in 1991 as a college student — young, passionate, and full of dreams. As I reflect on another year gone by, I am amazed, humbled, and so deeply grateful that many of these dreams have come true. Today, my work continues, alongside now thousands of Unite team members including Unite scholars & graduates, Unite Food Program staff, Brave Widows, partner schools, donors, board members & advisors, family & friends. My prayer for 2023 is for an even greater year of impact in our mission to empower youth and women through education, leadership, and business development programs to foster independence, dignity, and long-term success. May 2023 bring peace to each of you and to our precious planet.
