The RT Reverend Frederick Chingwaba Reverend Chingwaba is currently serving as Bishop of The Evangelical Anglican Church of Tanzania at the Eastern Zone, which includes the five districts of Dodoma, Morogoro, Coastal Region, Dar Es Salaam, and Ruvuma. He also serves as Assistant General Secretary of the Evangelical Anglican Church of Tanzania. Frederick has been a trusted friend and colleague of Unite since 2009 and together we are working to serve women with microloans, grants and business education programs and children through the provision of school fees. Frederick studied at Eden Seminary in St. Louis, MO, in 2009, and currently lives in Morogoro.

Joris Smit Originally from Amsterdam, Joris has been living in Africa for decades and is the co-founder of JorAfrica Safaris. Joris and Anne have been working together since 2008. Joris and his safari team are passionate and knowledgable about Tanzania and have been assisting Unite with welcoming and guiding our visitors, planning extraordinary safaris with our Unite Tours program (which is run under the umbrella of our partner organization Unite the World with Africa LLC),  as well as supporting our efforts with our partner programs across northern Tanzania.

Remy and Helene kindly allow Unite to feature their images on our website and in our campaigns.

Helene has worked as researcher in Cameroon among craftsmen and craftswomen and in New Mexico among Native American artists. She has since been working in the hospitality and tourism business, and with her husband Remy Simon continues to grow and evolve her extraordinary portfolio of photography.
